Update on kNET hosting

Just wanted to say that it’s been a month or two and kNET are still going strong. Their server is always fast and so far has had no downtime (I use Montastic to check).

In contrast, Weycrest had weekly periods of downtime and ignored support requests.

I can’t recommend kNET enough. Usually it’s a case of “cheap, fast, reliable – pick any two” but thus far they are managing to deliver on all three.

Hi – I was looking at kNet myself, and as I googled for reviews your blog post came up.

I was wondering how your getting on with them now it’s been a couple of years?

I need to reduce my costs, and the £15pa package seems to be all I need – my sites are nothing more that flights of fancy with tiny amounts of traffic, and email is all with Google. Nonetheless I’m always a little nervous to buy such a cheap hosting packag -thus my asking you how it’s been.

Hope you have time to reply to this, thanks in advance.

I just renewed for another year. I am very happy with them, no outages (I monitor with Monastic) and still fast. I also host keio.dk on the same account.

So I took the plunge and moved to them and everything has been smooth so far, so thanks for the recommendation.
